Jaggery is much healthier than White Sugar

Jaggery is made up of 85% sucrose and 5-8% organic stuff, like minerals, while white sugar is 99.9% sucrose. You should really think about swapping out your white sugar ASAP.

Nutritional Value:

Jaggery packs in minerals like iron, magnesium, potassium, and calcium, which get stripped away when making white sugar.

Processing:

Unlike white sugar, jaggery is less processed, so it keeps most of its natural goodies.

Glycemic Index:

Jaggery has a lower glycemic index compared to white sugar, which means it doesn't spike your blood sugar as quickly.

Some studies suggest that jaggery might help with digestion, detox your liver, and give your immune system a boost as Jaggery is a rich source of potassium.

Eating a small piece of jaggery before your meal can help you avoid overeating because it gets your brain to recognize when your liver signals that you're full.
